Pulchri Studio
Pulchri Studio fine historic premises located in the centre of The Hague and home to a society of artists of the same name established in 1847.
The premises, located at Lange Voorhout 15, offers exhibition and working facilities to some fourhundred and fifty painters, sculptors and graphic artists to show their works of art.
Pulchri Studio’s exhibition halls and garden are open to the public free of charge.
In general the works of art are for sale.

Tuesdays – Sundays (11.00 – 17.00 hrs.)

Membership of the society
Artists
Painters, sculptors, photographers and graphic artists can obtain the artist-membership after having been balloted by a committee consisting of fellow-artists selected by the general assembly of the society.
Foreign artists can also apply for the membership.
The annual contribution amounts to € 117.- plus € 35.- subscribtion fee.
Membership will allow you to exhibit your works of art in the galleries and exhibition halls at Lange Voorhout 15, The Hague.

Non-acting members
For non-artists with a keen interest in fine arts the non-acting membership is available. You can join the society as an art lover by way of introduction by one of the members.
The annual contribution for non-acting members is € 215 + € 35 subscription fee.

Non-acting membership assets
You will receive our bimonthly magazine ‘Pulchri’ (in Dutch and splendidly illustrated) and receive invitations to the openings of all exhibitions (approx. 65 per year). These openings are extremely appropriate for meeting the artists and fellow art lovers. There will be drinks and snacks and pleasant company...
As a member you will have admission to the clubhouse (sociëteit) which is also located at Lange Voorhout 15, The Hague. Limited introduction is allowed. This is the place to meet other members in a relaxed setting for drinks and a meal.

There is a Pulchri Studio social committee which organises events for the members like classic concerts, jazz, guided trips to picture-galleries, etc.

Pulchri Studio at 15 Lange Voorhout The Hague offers splendid private space for seminars, meetings, receptions, banquets and parties. Please contact our staff for availability and prices (070) 346 17 35.
