Laura’s work revolves around the object and questions the power of the object in defining us. Objects are used to decipher our past and form an integral part in telling the story of who we are. Through traces of objects, like ancient relics, we, as a species, can be interpreted and analysed. Objects and the environment are in constant transition through our interactions with them, thus as we transform them, it inherently transforms us. Laura’s work portrays the possible evolution and demise of objects and how they have the power to reshape our created reality.
